Budget 2025-2026: Tax Relief for Salaried Individuals

Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb presented the federal budget 2025–2026 in the National Assembly on Tuesday.

Under the guidance of the International Monetary Fund (IMF), the government has set a GDP growth target of 4.2% and aims to collect Rs14,131 billion in taxes β€” an 8.95% increase from the previous year’s target.

A major highlight of the budget is the reduction in income tax rates for the salaried class, bringing long-awaited relief to millions of individuals across Pakistan.
